I do get a lot of invites to do that sort of thing, but they usually want me to talk about being ‘famous trans person’ and I prefer to take public speaking opportunities that allow me to focus on my acting work. They’re also surprisingly difficult to organise cause students are very busy and sometimes the person who emails me from the Student Union gets replaced by someone else a few months after reaching out and we have to start all over again. I’m not opposed to it though, if the right offer came along I’d love to!
